Sharing/Caring Ministry

A ministry founded on three biblical principles:

•  God cares for His People.
1 Peter 5:7 – “Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.”

• Believers are to have mutual dependence and
   concern for one another.
1 Corinthians 12:25b states, “...but that the members may have the same care for one another.”
1 Peter 3:8 – “Finally, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, affectionate, compassionate, and humble.”
Romans 12:13 – “Share with God's people who are in need...”
Galatians 6:2 – “Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

• God is glorified when we meet the needs of the saints.
2 Cor. 9:12 “For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.”

God is good and has provided Himself, His Word and His people to sustain us in all our circumstances. The Sharing/Caring ministry helps facilitate in fulfilling God’s Word to have equal care for one another in spiritual and physical areas of our lives by caring for people through people. This ministry promotes serving, using our gifts, loving, and caring for one another in the Body of Christ here at Graham Church. No situation or person is ever too small or insignificant to receive care.

How can you participate in the Sharing/Caring Ministry?

If you have a spiritual or physical need of any kind or type, you should contact any of our elders. The elders may post needs on back bulletin board, put in the bulletin, and/or on the prayer chain. As you become aware of certain needs, you may contact an elder to get details about meeting that particular need.
